Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
(ALL have sinned) Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (ALL are loved now, just as they are) Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (The payoff for sin is death, separated from God forever. But salvation is a gift, and it is through Jesus Christ. You can't acheive this gift through church, baptism, good works, or anything else, only through Jesus Christ.) Romans 10:9-10 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (It is simply believing and receiving.) Romans 10:13 For, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Dear Lord, I know I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me to save me from my sins. I ask you to forgive me all my sins, come into my heart and save me. In Jesus name, Amen | ||
